This 1957 Pontiac Chieftain 2 Door Hardtop is beautifully restored inside and out. 1957 marked Pontiac's shift to its new "Star Flight" styling, which saw missile-shaped side trim, flatter tail fins, and extended rear fenders with v-shaped tips. This particular '57 Chieftain underwent an extensive body-off restoration a number of years back, and has been meticulously maintained since then. Under the hood on this '57 Pontiac is a 347 Cubic Inch V8 motor with a single 2 barrel carburetor. Anybody can drive this classic Pontiac because it features a Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission. The engine compartment is well-detailed and in fantastic shape. Dual exhaust, which was a $24 upgrade back in 1957, gives this classic Pontiac a throaty sound. The chrome and brightwork on this particular '57 Chieftain is in show-worthy condition. The Tartan Red and Black two-tone exterior paint is also in excellent condition and gives this Pontiac a fantastic 50s look. This beautiful Pontiac has a distinguished stance with 245/45ZR17 Radial Tires in front and 255/45ZR18 Radial Tires in the rear. Additionally, all 4 radial tires on this Chieftain are wrapped around Rev Classic Wheels which completes this Pontiac's exterior look. The interior on this '57 Pontiac Chieftain is also in superb condition. The White Vinyl Bench Seats with Black velour inserts appear to be recently re-done, and give this Pontiac a classic hot rod look. The dash and steering wheel are also in excellent shape, and are in their stock from-the-factory configuration. The headliner, door panels, and interior trim are also in very nice shape, appearing to have been recently replaced or refurbished.
