Starting June 23rd, the Minnesota Street Rod Association (MSRA) will be hosting an annual Minnesota favorite for classic car lovers, “Back to the Fifties.” The event is so popular in-fact that USA Today named it 2016′s best car show in America.

Of course Ellingson Motorcars will have a large presence and will be on-site all weekend long at our booth near the grandstand and in other areas of the event.  We are excited to see radio station WDGY interview our very own Scott Ellingson.  We are also extremely excited for the the annual classic car auction. 

Speaking of the auction, we encourage you to bid on our beautiful 1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88. A cameo cream ‘62 Oldsmobile 2-door hardtop has a rare factory supplied black hard top.  Additionally, the ‘62 Oldsmobile features a wonderful 394 v8 and has 4 whitewall radial tires.  Because it has power steering, power brakes, and automatic transmission, this ‘62 Olds is great for any collector because the car is extremely drivable.

A couple of other weekend highlights include the various contests, Sunday’s swap meet and seemingly non-stop weekend-long entertainment.  Lastly, Back to the 50′s offers several charity initiatives this year including the blood driveand scholarship silent auction.
